Return Policy
If your item is eligible for a return, it must be returned within 7 days of the date you received it. Items must be postmarked by the 7th day to be eligible for a refund. Please note there will be a 25% restocking fee applied on all returned items and a refund will be issued in the form of store credit. All items will be inspected upon return. Please contact us via email to initiate the return process. Shipping fees are the responsibility of the the consumer and shipping is non-refundable. At this time, we do not offer return shipping labels. Do not ship items back to our store without pre approval, as we will need to review and indicate the appropriate facility to which it must be sent. We recommend all returns be sent insured and with tracking as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged products. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the item is adequately packaged for return. House Sprucing cannot accept responsibility for any packages lost, stolen or damaged in transit. These items are final sale: artwork, bedding & bath products, custom or made to order pieces. Ineligible items for return: Custom or made to order items, including art and furniture, mattresses, bedding, towels, and bath products, all hardwired lighting, floor model and sale items, items damaged through normal water, such as sun exposure, humidity, or other natural factors. Please note: Natural materials, such as wood and marble, have variations and their imperfections are not considered defects. As foreign wood adapts to different climates, it can shift in size which can result in cracking.
Shipping Policy
Order fulfillment is typically Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. All orders are processed within 3-5 business days unless longer lead times are specified in a product's description. Processing times are in place regardless of how many shipping days are specified at the time of order. Standard shipping lead time for in-stock items is an estimated 10-14 business days. If the item you order has an unexpected delay, we will contact you directly. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, usually during holidays or sales, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via directly. We offer shipping for orders within the 48 contiguous states. Please note shipping rates are calculated based on the original retail price/full order value. Please note the measurements of the furniture you intend to purchase as well as all entry, doorways, staircases, access points, etc. for delivery to ensure the item will not only fit in your space, but have enough clearance to reach the room its intended for. You may reference our furniture measuring guide for helpful points to measure to ensure a smooth delivery. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure items will fit inside entry points upon delivery of the item. House Sprucing will not be held responsible if the piece does not fit in the buyer’s home. If this situation occurs, customers are subject to a 25% restocking fee for the returned item pending approval from House Sprucing, in addition to any return shipping costs. If a return is approved, furniture must be in its original packaging. All items must be inspected upon delivery and provide a signature upon receipt. A bill of lading must be signed and serves as confirmation that the order has been inspected and approved. Any damage discovered must be noted on the bill of lading. All damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Local delivery is available within the DFW metroplex. This service is available in a 50 mile radius from 75006. Delivery is made through an independent third party and HS can provide a delivery estimate upon request. The customer would be responsible to pay the delivery company directly upon receiving their shipment.
